Share Files with Your Own FTP Server

Running your own FTP server is very simple with ALFTP. In fact, you can run your own server in less than 10 seconds with only 2 clicks.

Starting your FTP server

1) On the ALFTP toolbar, click Server > Run Server:

This displays the Server Setup dialog:

The settings are automatically done for you, but you can change them if needed.

2) Click OK.

Your FTP server is now running.

For other people to connect to your FTP server, let them know your IP address as well as any user ID and password you may choose to use.
