Batch Rename Pictures

Download ALSee Now If you have hundreds or thousands of pictures that you want to rename, doing it manually just isn't an option. Thankfully, you can rename them all with ALSee in mere seconds.

Renaming rules are easy to use. Just use a simple naming token for what you want to be in the new picture file name. You can use:

  • Enumeration (#): Give each picture a number and use extra #'s for zero padding
  • Folder Name (!): Use the name of the folder the picture is in
  • File Name (*): Keep the original file name in the new name
  • Year (<): Insert the year
  • Month (>): Insert the month
  • Day (?): Insert the day
  • Plain Vanilla Text: Enter any text you want for every picture
