File Transfer Queues

ALFTP lets you build file transfer queues so you can transfer files all at 1 time.
Drag and drop files and folders for uploading or downloading into the File Transfer Queue window pane to queue them for later transfer.

Transfer Queues

◆	First, connect to the FTP server and navigate to the folders where you wish to have the files transfered to and from:

Method 1. Drag & Drop
1. Select the files and folders you want to transfer from the server explorer or the client (local) explorer.
2. Drag and drop the selected files into the File Transfer Queue window. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as necessary.
3. Choose Start queued transfers from the Transfers menu or your right-click context menu.

Method 2. Using the Transfer menu for queue transfers
1. Select the files and folders you want to transfer from the server explorer or the client (local) explorer.
2. Click the Transfers menu and choose Queue file(s) for transfer or right-click on the files and choose Queue file(s) for transfer . Repeat steps 1 and 2 as necessary.
3. Choose Start queued transfers from the Transfers menu or your right-click context menu.

Note on transfer folder destinations:
Remember to navigate to the folder that you want the files transferred to when you queue them. i.e. When transferring files from an FTP server to your PC, navigate to the folder on your PC that you want the files transferred to with the ALFTP client explorer before you queue the files for transfer, and vice-versa.
