- Running ALPass displays the main interface.
Click anywhere on the screen shot for details.

- Menu
Every ALPass function is available through the menu.
|
|
- File (F)
- Add Site: Click this
to add the currently viewed site to ALPass. Simply enter your login
ID and password then click OK to save the site into your encrypted
login database.
- Modify Site: Edit the
current (selected) site information.
- Delete Site: Delete
the current (selected) site from ALPass. This cannot be undone.
- Import/Export Site Info:
Backup or restore encrypted login databases or save the database
as a plain text file to open with any text editor or spreadsheet
program.
- Logout: Logout
the current user from ALPass.
- Delete Current User:
Delete the current user and all site information. You must be logged
in as a specific user to delete that user.
- Exit: Quit ALPass.

- Tools (T)
- Site List: List
all sites to view all details, search and sort through sites, filter
sites, or edit them.
- Manual Site Keyword Manager:
When you don't want ALPass to auto
complete login forms for you, click this to add web sites to
a list that ALPass will ignore.
- Preferences: Set preferences
and various options to customize how ALPass interacts with your
web sites and browser.
- Change User Password:
Change the password for the currently logged in user. You
need to know the current user's password to change it.
- Refresh: Checks the current
status and updates it if needed.
- Auto Fill: Automatically
fills in the login ID and password for the current web site.
- Previous Login:
If there is more than 1 set of login IDs and passwords for the current
web site, then this displays the previous login ID and password
pair.
- Next Login: If there
is more than 1 set of login IDs and passwords for the current web
site, then this displays the next login ID and password pair.
- Minimize to Tray: This
minimizes ALPass to the Windows System Tray in the lower right corner.

- Help
- Help: Displays the
online ALPass help file.
- Readme: Displays the readme.txt
file for ALPass.
- Contact: Opens the Contact web page in a browser window.
- Support: Opens the
online Support Desk in a browser window.
- ALPass Home Page:
Opens the ESTsoft Home Page in a browser window.
- ALTools Homepage:
Opens the ALTools home page in a browser window.
- Update to Latest Version: Opens the Download page in a browser window where you can get the latest version.
- Order ALPass: Opens a browser window where you can purchase commercial licenses for ALPass.
- Enter Registration Code...: Opens the registration dialog where you can enter your personal registration code.
- About ALPass:
Displays basic information about ALPass including the currently
installed version number.

- Toolbar
- Site List: Browse and
search through the encrypted login database.
- Add: Add a web site or
folder to ALPass. Input the new login ID and password. Click OK
to encrypt and save the new site information.
- Modify: Edit information
regarding the current (selected) site or folder. Change the part
you want and click OK to encrypt and save the changes.
- Delete: Deletes the
current (selected) site or folder.

- Address bar
The address of the current (selected) site is displayed here. Click
the arrow to open the site in a new browser window and login.

|
- Site Info Panel
Shows information on the current site if it exists in the encrypted
login database. Otherwise, it displays a message telling you it has
no information on the site.
- Description: Displays
a user defined description about the current (selected) website.
When a site is first created, this is the web page's title by default.
- Keywords: The keyword
being filtered for is displayed in bright blue.
- Login ID: This displays
the login ID for the selected site if a login ID exists.
- Password: Displays the
(asterisk masked) password for the selected site if one exists.
- Auto Fill: Automatically
fills in the login ID and password for the selected site into the
web browser window.

- Site Browser
Browse and organize sites. You can add folders and sub-folders to
neatly organize your web sites and logins. Simply drag and drop folders
and web sites to organize them.

- Status bar
Displays the currenly logged in user's name.
