| Digital cameras and other
digital imaging equipment and software often stores information about
a picture inside of the picture invisibly. This information is called
"EXIF" data. Examples of EXIF data include the date and time
a photograph was taken, the name of the camera manufacturer and model
name, flash, shutter speed, file size, image format, white balance, aperture
settings, and lighting conditions. There are many more EXIF items as well.
You can view EXIF information
in ALSee, and even use it in the Photo Editor to insert useful information
like when a picture was taken.
