Invert Selection with ALSee Picture Viewer

Deselects all selected files and directories and selects all available others.

Usage

Click [Edit] ¬> [Invert Selection].

Selected and unselected files and folders are reversed.

Available Files and Directories

Depending upon how you set your options in Windows and in ALSee, not all files and directories may be "available". Usually system files and directories are hidden to protect them. Hidden files are not available. Also, if you checked [Show only pictures] in ALSee's [Preferences], then only normal directories and picture files will be available.
The benefit here is that if you have other files in the same directory, like Word documents or MP3s, you can select all the pictures without selecting other types.
