ALSee Picture Viewer and Photo Editor Resize Picture <Ctrl + R>

Resizes selected pictures by size or percentage.

Usage
  1. Select the pictures to resize.

  2. Click [Photo Editor] ¬> [Resize Picture].

  3. Set your picture resizing options. See below for details on picture resizing options.

  4. Click [OK].

Picture Resizing Options
Option Description
Resize by % Enlarges or shrinks picture by a percentage of the original size. Aspect ratio is preserved.
Resize to WxH Stretch the picture to specific dimesions specified in pixels.
Preserve Aspect (Ratio) Checking this option causes the width and height properties to automatically adjust themselves so that the picture does not become distorted.
Resize to file size Limit size to file size Check this option to limit the size of a file to 500k or under.
User defined size Check this option and choose a size in KB to resize all files to this size.
Save Options Use prefix for new file name(s) Check this and enter some text to prefix all the resized pictures with the same text.
Save to original folder By default, resized pictures are saved in the same directory as the original.
Save to (new) subfolder Check this option and enter a name for a subfolder under the current folder. A new one is created if the name does not exist.
Browse for folder to save to Click this radio button and browse to another directory to choose a folder.
Overwrite Files? Ask If a picture with the same name exists, you are prompted to either not resize the picture or overwrite the existing file.
Skip If a picture exists with the same name exists, do not resize the file. Keep the existing file.
Overwrite If a picture with the same name exists, overwrite the existing file with the new picture. The existing picture is irrevocably lost and cannot be recovered.
Delete original Deletes the original picture files to the Recycle Bin if [Delete to Recycle Bin] is checked in ALSee's [Preferences].
Overwriting Picture Files
Once a picture is overwritten (replaced), it cannot be recovered. It is IRREVOCABLY LOST FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER. Use caution when overwriting pictures.
