ALSee Picture Viewer and Photo Editor Starting ALSee Picture Viewer

Once ALSee is installed properly, you can quickly start it in [Browse] mode by double-clicking the cute ALSee egg icon on the Desktop or Start menu. [Browse] mode is similar to Windows Explorer. Double-clicking an ALSee image file opens it in [Zoom] mode. Please refer to the below for details.

Starting from the Desktop
  1. Double-click the ALSee icon on the desktop.

  2. ALSee opens in [Browse] mode.

Starting from the Start Menu
  1. Click [Start] then click the ALSee icon.

    OR

  1. Click [Start] > [Programs] > [ESTsoft] > [ALSee] then the ALSee icon.

  2. ALSee opens in [Browse] mode.

Starting from Windows Explorer
  1. In Windows Explorer, click any image file with an ALSee icon.

  2. ALSee opens in [Zoom] mode with the picture at full resolution.

Associating Photo and Image files with ALSee
Associating photo and image files with ALSee will cause them to open with ALSee when double-clicked in Windows Explorer.
  1. Open ALSee.

  2. On the menu, click [Options] > [Preferences] and choose the [File Associations] tab.

  3. Check photo and picture file types to associate them with ALSee and uncheck to unassociate them.
