The Browse menu contains an exhaustive list of all the functions available to [Browse] mode in ALSee Open <Ctrl + O> Browse and open pictures directly in [Browse] mode. In [Browse] mode, select a picture then click [File] -> [Open].
New Folder <Ctrl + N> Creates a new folder (directory) at the current path location in [Browse] mode. Click [File] -> [New Folder]. Enter a new folder name in the dialog box. Click [OK].
Save As <Ctrl +S> Save rotated or otherwise edited photos and pictures as BMP, GIF, JPEG, or TIFF picture files. Click [File] -> [Save As]. Enter a new file name and choose a file format then click [Save]. *Remark: You can use [Save As] to change picture formats. Just choose one from the Save as type drop down menu.
Print <Ctrl + P> Set printer, paper, layout, and other details for photo printing. In the ALSee print dialog, click the [Printer Setup] button. In the printer setup dialog, set your printer's options. This dialog will vary according to your printer manufacturer. Please consult their documentation.
Digital Camera Info <F12> Find out information about a photo from a digital camera. Digital cameras and other digital imaging equipment and software often stores information about a picture inside of the picture invisibly. This information is called 'EXIF' data. Examples of EXIF data include the date and time a photograph was taken, the name of the camera manufacturer and model name, flash, shutter speed, file size, image format, white balance, aperture settings, and lighting conditions. There are many more EXIF items as well.
File Properties Get Windows information on a file. Click [File] -> [File Properties]. *Remark: The Windows dialog you see will depend on whether your hard drive is formatted with a FAT or NTFS file system. For more information, please consult your Windows documentation or visit http://www.microsoft.com.
Online Update Update your copy of ALSee to the latest version. Click [File] -> [Online Update]. Automatic update module (ALUpdate) is already built in the software. From ALUpdate window, you will see the complete list of ALTools product that's in your PC and the most recent version information for each product.
Exit <Alt +F4> Close the program. From the menu, click [File] -> [Exit]. Then ALSee closes.
