Zoom Mode Edit Menus can move, copy, rotate and delete the files.

Cut <Ctrl +X>

Move pictures by cutting them and pasting them to new directories. Delete them from the original location and copies them to the new location.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Cut].

2. Browse to the new directory.

3. Click [Edit] -> [Paste]

4. The pictures are moved.

 

Copy <Ctrl + C>

Copies the selected part or the whole picture to clipboard.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Copy].

2. Browse to the directory you wish to copy the photo(s) to.

3. Click [Edit] -> [Paste].

4. The photos are copied to the new location.

 

Copy to Picture Clipboard

Copies a picture to the Windows clipboard so that it is available to other applications like Microsoft Word, Power Point or Microsoft Paint.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Copy to Picture Clipboard].

2. Switch to another application and paste the picture into it.

3. The picture you are viewing will be copied to Picture Clipboard.

*Remarks: You cannot paste pictures copied this way into Windows Explorer as files. This is for copying pictures into other application.

 

Paste <Ctrl + V>

Copies picture or photo data from the clipboard to a new location.

1. [Copy] or [Cut] a picture to the clipboard.

2. Browse to the new directory and click [Edit] -> [Paste].

3. The picture(s) has been pasted into the new directory.

 

Delete <Del>

Delete the picture you are viewing.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Delete].

2. You are prompted to confirm the deletion.

3. The picture you are viewing will be deleted.

 

Rename <F2>

Change the file name of the picture you are viewing.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Rename].

2. Enter the new file name.

*Remarks: Changing the file extension of a picture while renaming it does NOT change the picture format, but you do not need to retype the file extension again. e.g. If the file name is "MyPicture.jpg" you can rename it to "YourPicture" and the file will be correctly renamed as "YourPicture.jpg."

 

Rotate 90 degree Clockwise and save

Turn the picture you are viewing 90 degree clockwise and save.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Rotate 90 degree Clockwise and save].

2. You are notified that the original picture(s) was saved to current subfolder.

 

Rotate 90 degree Counterclockwise and save

Turn the picture you are viewing 90 degree counterclockwise and save.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Rotate 90 degree Counterclockwise and save].

2. You are notified that the original picture(s) was saved to current subfolder.

3. The picture you are viewing will be rotated 90 degree Counterclockwise.

 

Select All <Ctrl + A>

Select all available files and folders in the current directory.

1. Click [Edit] -> [Select All].

2. The whole picture you are viewing is selected.

 

Invert Selection

Deselect selected part on the picture.

1. click [Edit] -> [Invert Selection].

2. Selected and unselected part of picture is reversed.

 

Save Selected Area <Shift + Ctrl + S>

Saves the selection as a new picture file.

1. Primary click (Left Click) and drag your mouse to create a selection.

2. Click [Edit]-> [Save Selected Area <Shift + Ctrl + S>].

3. Enter a new file name and choose a picture format.

4. Click [Save].
