Customize ALSee options and settings as well as how ALSee provides different options for viewing pictures.

Click [Tool] -> [Preferences (F4)].

Click [View] tab.

The following options can be set under [View] tab.

View repeatedly when a picture is first or last one: When the last picture in a directory is reached during browsing, ALSee will automatically starts over from the beginning.

Always on top: ALSee will remain on top of all other program windows, even when it does not have focus.

Show picture loading process: When checked, shows loading process of each picture.

Rotate picture automatically: When checked, rotates picture(s) automatically if the picture has EXIF rotation info.

Compensate picture: Just as with auto correction, this automatically adjusts thumbnails so that they are easier on the eyes with a smoother, more natural feel.

Flip horizontally: When checked, creates a mirror image of the picture in the horizontal planes.

Show file name in Full Screen: When checked, shows a file name in [Full Screen] mode.

View in navigation window: Navigation windows is automatically on when a picture is larger than the screen.

Don't use transparent toolbar: When checked, the transparent toolbar will not show in [Zoom] mode.

Adjust View

Fit only large pictures to screen: If a picture is larger than the ALSee [Zoom] mode window, then it is reduced in size until the entire picture.

Fit picture to screen : Reset the magnification level to fit the picture to Photo Editor's preview screen.

Fit picture to screen width: When checked, fits picture to screen width.

Fit picture to screen height: When checked, fits picture to screen height.

View picture in default size: Resets the magnification level to fit the picture in the ALSee window.

Maintain current zoom: When checked, sets magnification to its current zoom when moving to the next picture.

*Remarks: When using [Maintain current zoom] is very convenient when viewing very small or very large picture(s).

Background Color

Screen background color: Click the colored box to bring up a color dialog and change the background color of ALSee's [Zoom] window.

Text color: Click the colored box to bring up a color dialog and change the text color of ALSee's [Full Screen] mode.
