Open audio files to play in ALSong.

Usage

1. Start ALSong.
2. On the main menu, click [File] > [Open] and choose an option from the flyout to add audio files that you wish to add to ALSong's playlist. You can also right-click on ALSong and choose [Open] to add your audio files. "Opening" files, folders, or URLs clears the playlist.

Open File: Use this to add a file or group of files to the playlist. (Clears the playlist.)

Open Folder: Use this to add all the audio files in a folder to the playlist. (Clears the playlist.)

Open URL: Use this to type in an Internet address for an audio file or broadcast. (Clears the playlist.)

Also, on the main menu you can click [File] > [Add] or right-click on ALSong and choose [Add].

Add File: Use this to add a file or group of files to the playlist. (Preserves the existing playlist.)

Add Folder: Use this to add all the audio files in a folder to the playlist. (Preserves the existing playlist.)

Add URL: Use this to type in an Internet address for an audio file or broadcast. (Preserves the playlist.)

3. After choosing an Open/Add File/Folder/URL option, a dialog box opens.
4. Choose the file/folder/URL that you wish to open/add and click the [Open].
5. The audio files appear in the playlist.
