Your ALTools account lets you login and access functionality in ALToolbar.

Your ALToolbar login and your ALTools web site login are the same, so if you've already signed up at the ALTools web site, you've already got an account for ALToolbar. Just login to ALToolbar with your ALTools web site login (hereafter "ALTools login").

If you don't have an ALTools login, signing up is quick and easy. Here's how.

Get a Free Account

To get a free account from inside ALToolbar:

1.	On ALToolbar, click the ALToolbar button

2.	Choose "Login" from the drop down menu

3.	On the login screen, click the register button to take you to the registration page at the ALTools web site where you can register

The process is almost the same as for any other web site, however, there are a few important differences.

Your login at the ALTools web site is secure through an encrypted SSL connection.

Your password is securely encrypted. If you lose your password, we cannot retrieve it for you. You can get a new password, but it will be a random password, and all ALToolbar encrypted information in your account will be permanently lost forever. DO NOT LOSE YOUR PASSWORD.

This is all to ensure that your use of the ALTools web site, ALToolbar, and services offered through the ALToolbar and ALTools web site are protected for you.

Verifying Your ALTools Account

Your privacy is important to us at ALTools so we require that you verify your ALTools account. This is to prevent abuse such as someone else signing you up for an account that you do not want.

We will send you a confirmation email to any email address you provide. When you get that email, click the link inside, copy & paste the link into your browser, or copy the verification code to paste into the login page at the ALTools web site.

Once again, the sign up process is as follows:

1.	Sign up at the ALTools web site

2.	Check email for verification link/code

3.	Click link and login, or login with the verification code

4.	Start using the ALToolbar and ALTools web site

IMPORTANT!!!

Since you need to verify your membership account through email, please make sure that you have white-listed the ALTools email address in your email anti-spam software or junk mail filters. You can find that information at the ALTools web site.

White-listing the ALTools email address should ensure that you properly receive email from us and that your ISP or email provider does not filter the verification email as spam.
