Customize how you want to improve Internet searching with ALToolbar.
Replace Search button to "Mini-Searchbar": Check this to display Simple Search Bar in toolbar. Highlight Search Results: Check this to highlight the search phrase on a results page. You can also toggle this option in the Search Bar itself by checking/unchecking "Highlight". Set Color: Choose the color that you want search phrases highlighted in. Advanced: Click the Advanced button to display more search preferences. (See below.) Available Search Engines: We've assembled a wide variety of search engines and other valuable resources on the web for you. Check the ones that you want to be available in the Search Bar drop down menu. Use Search Engine Shortcuts: Check this to enable search engine shortcuts. See here for more information. Save History in Quick Search Bar: Check this to keep searches available later. For example, if you type in a search like, "coolest software in the world" then later you'll be able to type in just the first few characters to display a list.
Delete History: If you've opted to save your searches for later use, you may want to periodically clean them out and start fresh. Click this button to delete all your searches from memory. An example of a good time to delete you search history is after you've been searching for birthday gifts or Christmas gifts for someone in the house and you don't want them to accidentally find out what you're thinking about buying for them. Add ALToolbar Quick Search in Right-click Context Menu: This adds options for searching with ALToolbar to your Internet Explorer right-click context menu. Quick Search Settings: These options let you decide how you want to allow the Search Bar to be opened. Each option is self-descriptive.
