Searching with the Search Bar

There are a few extras you can do with the ALToolbar Search.

Internet Search

To search the Internet with a search engine:

1.	Choose a search engine from the drop down menu on the left

2.	Enter your keywords

3.	Press Enter or click Go

The ALToolbar navigates to the proper search engine results page (SERP) for your query.

"Search Engine Shortcuts" with Different Search Engines

You don't always need to change the search engine in the drop down menu. You can use a special search engine shortcut to define which search engine you want to use for a specific search.

To do that:

1.	In the Search input, enter the search engine shortcut then type your search.

2.	Press Enter or click Go

You are taken to the search engine results page for your query in the search engine that you chose with the shortcut

Navigate to Web Sites

To instantly navigate to a predefined web site:

1.	Enter the abbreviation that you defined as a Keyword Shortcut into the search bar or address bar

2.	Press Enter or click Go
