You can set several preferences for web page screen captures. Two choices are available:
The first requires you to click and drag, while the second requires you to click once for each corner (i.e. You need to click twice). ALToolbar can automatically save web page screen captures for you. Check this option to turn it on then set the following preferences:
Folder: The folder that will be used to save all screen captures. Click "..." to browse and select a folder. Format: The image format used to save captures. Choose JPG for smaller files, or BMP for perfect quality. File Name: You can automatically name files with date and time options, or with bird names. You can also set a fixed name. In this case, subsequent files are numbered ascending from 1 on up. e.g. If you set the fixed name as "pic", your screen captures are then named "pic.jpg", "pic_1.jpg", "pic_2.jpg", etc. Auto Save: Check this option to automatically have ALToolbar save your screen capture for you without prompting you. * NOTE: If you are running Windows Vista, you must run Internet Explorer in administrator mode ("Run as administrator". Please note that this poses a security risk if you visit malicious web sites as the context that IE is then running under is "administrator" and not "user". An exploit would then run with the same permissions. If you do not wish to use Paint or ALSee to edit your screen captures, you can select another program as your image editor. Click the "..." button to browse and select the image editor. Please note that we really, really, really, really, really... <take a breath...> really, really, really want you to use ALSee! :)
