There are a couple different shortcut methods to make like easier for you.

You can use shortcuts to navigate to web sites or to use a specific search engine for a search. All shortcuts are predefined. Shortcuts can be entered into the Search Bar or into your browser address bar.

Search Engine Shortcuts

Search engine shortcuts let you choose a search engine other than the selected one. This is most useful when you want to search with search engine A for most of your searches, but you prefer search engine B for other searches.

To use a search engine shortcut:

You are taken to the search engine results page for your chosen engine and keywords.

Keyword Shortcuts for Navigation

Keyword Shortcuts let you navigate to web sites by typing in a predefined keyword in the Search Bar or the address bar.

To use a Keyword Shortcut to navigate to a web site:

You are taken to the web site for the keyword

To create a Keyword Shortcut:

1.	Click the ALToolbar button on ALToolbar

2.	Click "Preferences"

3.	Click the Keyword Shortcuts tab

5.	In the Add Keyword Shortcuts dialog, enter a keyword and a web address for it

The new shortcut appears in the Keyword Shortcuts list

To change a Keyword Shortcut:

5.	In the Modify Keyword Shortcuts dialog, make your changes

Your shortcut is updated.

To delete a navigation shortcut:

The shortcut is deleted.
