How to create archives

Creating new archives

There are several ways to archive files:

1. Using Windows Explorer: Right-click on your file and then choose an option from the context menu.

2. Drag & Drop: Select one or more files in Explorer and drag and drop them into the ALZip application.

3. Using the ALZip Window: Run ALZip and click the New button.

Adding one or more files to an existing archive

There are several ways to add files to an existing archive. The following are the most common ways to do so:

1. Using Windows Explorer: Drag and drop one or more files onto an existing archive icon. *This is the absolute FASTEST way.

2. Add files to an archive file: Run ALZip and click the Add button. An Add dialog box will appear.

3. Drag & Drop into ALZip: Open an archive file with ALZip and drag and drop files into the ALZip main application window.
