ALZip's default options add a Windows Explorer File menu and a context menu item that let you create folders faster and easier than the Windows Explorer defaults. These new folders have bird names like sparrow, eagle, crow, etc. See Create New Folder for a screen shot. There are 2 places where you can create a new folder in Windows Explorer:
The defaults take 3 user actions: 1) click, 2) hover (for the "New" flyout menu), and 3) another click. The additional ALZip "New Folder" item lets you create folders faster. It occurs in 2 places:
This eliminates the time consuming hover action and makes new folder creation faster with 2 user actions: 1) click, 2) click. To enable or disable the ALZip New Folder functionality:
If you would rather have a custom set of folder names, you can customize these yourself. For more information on how to change the text, please see the translation section at the ALTools web site. Also, please note that customized language files do not survive upgrades, so you must manually back them up yourself before upgrading to a new version of ALZip.
