Opening ZIP files and archives with ALZip

There are several ways to open archives using ALZip, however, opening by double-clicking on archives is the most common method. When deleting files from an archive, you must use the ALZip main application window.

Double-clicking in Explorer

You can open a file by double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer.

Using the Open button on the ALZip toolbar

Start ALZip, click the Open button, and browse to select the desired archive.

Using the Drag & Drop interface

Start ALZip and drag an archive into the ALZip window. You can also drag and drop individual files to and from the Windows Explorer and ALZip windows, easily adding or extracting individual files this way.
