There are several ways to extract files from ZIP files and archives. The first of the following is the fastest: 1. Using Windows Explorer: Right-click on the ZIP or archive you want to extract from and then click one of the Extract options in the context menu. 2. Extracting using the ALZip main application window: i/ Start ALZip and click the Open button. Browse to the archive file in the Open archive dialog box and double-click on it or select it and click the Open button in the dialog box. ii/ Select one or more files to extract (no selection = all selected) and click the Extract button. The Extract dialog box will prompt you for with some options such as where to save the extracted files. Click Extract to finish. 3. Extracting using the Drag & Drop Interface: Once the archive is open in ALZip as in 2-i above, select the files to extract and drag them into the folder where you want them.
Extracting more than one ZIP or archive at a time is only available through the Explorer context menu.
